The Rogers Santa Claus Parade

It's the Lower Mainland's newest annual community celebration - The Rogers Santa Claus Parade. This year's parade is guaranteed to dazzle the crowds with music and cheer for all to hear when Vancouver welcomes Santa back to downtown at 1:00 pm, Sunday, November 19th.

This year's parade will feature 60 different bands, floats
and community groups as it makes its way along a new downtown route that is twice as long as last year's route. The parade route runs east along Georgia Street from Broughton, then south along Howe Street at the Vancouver Art Gallery.

Once again this year, families will be encouraged to bring out toys and food for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society and the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau. Over
the past two years, 8000 kg of food and 3500 toys were collected by parade volunteers.

2007 Vancouver Polar Bear Swim

The Polar Bear Swim will take place on
January 1st, 07 at English Bay in downtown Vancouver.
The year 2007 will mark the 87th year of the Polar Bear Swim!
